State Minister Chamara Sampath Dassanayake, who repeatedly used Channel Eye instead of Channel 4 when referring to the Channel 4 exposure on the Easter Sunday attacks, swiftly corrected himself after being informed by a fellow MP. 

The Minister went on to mention that ‘Channel Eye’ had a personal grudge against the Rajapaksas and everyone in the country was aware of this. When reporting the war in Sri Lanka, ‘Channel Eye’ reported what the LTTE had done as something done by the state army.  

Soon after a fellow MP pointed out that it was not Channel Eye and it should be Channel 4, he corrected himself.   
“Sorry, it is a mistake. I beg your pardon,” the Minister apologized.
