Parliamentarian Patali Champika Ranawaka yesterday clarified that there has been no move to accept ministerial portfolios.  

With reference to the article titled “Another Cabinet Reshuffle” published in yesterday’s (25) Daily Mirror, the MP has sent the following statement.   

“I wish to clarify that the story is entirely baseless and unfounded. There has been no move to accept ministerial portfolios. As the United Republic Front, we have consistently maintained our commitment to addressing the public’s concerns rather than pursuing personal gain,” the MP stated in his statement.
