• More than 50 percent of the population and the majority of public servants have been vaccinated by now

A circular has been issued recalling all public servants to duty as usual from today in accordance with Covid-19 Health Guidelines, Public Services, Provincial Councils and Local Government Secretary J.J. Rathnasiri said. 

He said According to the circular, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and employees who were suffering from chronic diseases should not be called for duty.  

Head of the institutions and department heads should ensure that all employees strictly adhere to health guidelines.
