An Indian national was stabbed to death by another Indian national inside a restaurant at the One Galle Face shopping mall in Colombo on Wednesday night.  Police said at least 20 employees from India and Sri Lanka are working at the restaurant which was opened last month.  

They said the Indian nationals are staying at an apartment in Slave Island and there has been a dispute among two Indian nationals.  According to investigations, a 30-year-old Indian, reportedly the manager of the restaurant had stabbed a 28-year-old Indian, the main chef of the restaurant during a brawl inside the restaurant.  The victim was admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo and died while undergoing treatment at the ICU.
