A counter agitation to express solidarity to Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his government was held yesterday in front of the Carlton House in Tangalle. More than 1500 people marched along Tangalle – Tissamaharama Road to the Carlton House. The counter protest resulted in obstructions to traffic on Colombo – Kataragama main highway through Tangalle town.
