Those who visit Wellawatte beach have been adviced to be vigilant after a crocodile was spotted in the sea recently.   
A warning sign was seen on the beach asking people to be vigilant.   

People are visiting the beach in numbers  due to the school holidays according to police.   

Police life savers have been deployed to face any emergency situation.
