An individual in Wanduramba had been assaulted to death by his daughter.  

The deceased Gardiya Hewawasam Pussawalage Ariyadasa (54) was a resident of Katamburawa in Wanduramba Police area.  

Investigations revealed that his 22-year-old daughter had  assaulted him with her hand during an altercation and that he started bleeding  from his nose and died on admission to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.  The suspect daughter was taken into custody by Wanduramba Police and are conducting investigations on the instructions of ASP Galle,  Krishantha Lokuge.
