• The decision whether to extend curfew would be made based on the situation report

The decision to extend the quarantine curfew would be taken tomorrow (27), Director General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena said yesterday.  

 He said the decision would be taken at the meeting of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) scheduled for this Friday.   

Dr. Gunawardane said the decision whether to extend the quarantine curfew would be made based on the deaths and positive cases being reported.   

The government declared a ten-day quarantine curfew until next Monday (30).
