In his complaint, Attorney-at-law Udara Muhandiramge was seeking a declaration that IGP Wickremaratne has violated his fundamental rights guaranteed under Article 12(1), 14(1), a, b, c, g and h of the constitution by declaring police curfew was contrary to the law.
