Dr. D. Venkateshwaran, Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka paid an official call on Mr. Thawar Chand Gehlot, the Governor of Karnataka State recently, and sought support for Sri Lanka   

The Deputy High Commissioner added his compliments to the newly appointed Governor and discussed on possible avenues to ‘Support Sri Lanka’. As a result, the Governor agreed to seek the possibility of extending long term IT based investments to Sri Lanka as well as securing job opportunities for Sri Lankan IT intellectuals in Bangalore, the IT capital of India.
