The Aeroflot Airbus A 330 which was grounded at BIA following a court order left for Moscow after the Colombo Commercial High Court suspended a previous order. The flight departed at 6 pm (local time) last evening, an airport official confirmed to the media.

Following the court decision yesterday, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that they were grateful to all the state authorities of Sri Lanka who took part in the prompt settlement of the situation. “We are grateful to all the state authorities of Sri Lanka who took part in the prompt settlement of the situation,” the statement added.
