• The audio clip is alleged to be of State Minister’s scolding a person in filth

State Minister Diana Gamage in a letter addressed to head of police cybercrimes division had requested the removal of an audio clip which is being circulated on social media.
The audio clip is alleged to be of State Minister’s scolding a person in filth. 

 
The State Minister however claimed that a certain person has been giving her nuisance calls over and over again. He had also sent her SMSs. Her personal security officers have requested the person to leave her alone. 

 However the caller had used abusive language on them as well.   

The State Minister has requested the head of cybercrimes to remove the audio clip from social media.
