Litro gas yesterday said that distribution of domestic LP  gas will resume by this morning as the unloading of 3,500 metric tonnes  liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) commenced last evening from the tankers  that had berthed at the Colombo Port, an official said.

The Presidential Secretariat said on Wednesday that  payments have been made for the LP gas tankers docked in the Colombo  Port and distribution of LPG would commence.
Informed sources yesterday said that the two tankers with  3,500 metric tonnes of LPG are still in the Sri Lankan maritime border  for nearly 10 days awaiting the payment.

Since last week, two main LP Litro Gas and Laugfs Gas PLC  stopped the distribution of cylinders for domestic use due to the  shortage of supplies.
