A driver who sexually harassed an Indian woman on a trip to Yala National Park was taken into custody by Kirinda Police.  

The 37-year-old suspect was a resident of Akurugoda in Tissamaharama whose vehicle had been hired by the Indian women for the trip.  

The 38-year-old Indian tourist complained to police that she and four other women were travelling in one jeep and her husband with four men in another jeep. She stated that the suspect pulled down his trousers and committed a lewd act.  

Kirinda Police are conducting further investigations.
