Earth slip causes havoc on Nuwara Eliya-Hatton road

The Nuwara Eliya - Hatton main highway had been obstructed by a massive earth slip at Radella in Nanuoya yesterday morning.   

Road Development Authority and Nanuoya Police had taken steps to clear one lane of the road for traffic.  Assistant Director - District Disaster Management Centre Nimal Bandara said traffic would be operating on single lane until the mounds of earth are cleared.
