Eastern Siberia Pacific Ocean Crude Oil cargo unloaded



  • No fuel price revision on November 15

The Eastern Siberia Pacific Ocean (ESPO) Crude Oil cargo, which has been seen docked off the west coast of Sri Lanka for over 50 days due to a delay in settling payment, has commenced unloading, a Minister said.

 Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara said the unloading commenced after a new modality was agreed with 
the supplier.


He said the first Petrol (Octane 95) cargo which was imported by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) since April, commenced unloading yesterday. 


The  Minister said that there will be no further fuel price revision on November 15, since the prices were revised earlier this week.
