Fees for NIC related services increased

The government issued a gazette notification yesterday announcing new fee structure for national identity card (NIC) and related services.  

Accordingly, the cost for issuing a certified copy of a national identity card has been set at a fixed rate of Rs.1,000.  

The fees for certifying the authenticity of particulars associated with a national identity card have been updated. Online submissions now incur a charge of Rs.25.00 while physical subject to approval by the Commissioner-General, come at a cost of Rs.500.00
