Three fishermen were injured due to a mid sea clash between two groups of fishermen. The Injured fishermen were brought ashore by the Naval officers and admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital. 

Those who were injured comprised fishermen from the vessel named Dehami which had left the shores of Kudawella. The clash had taken place around 200 nautical miles away in the sea.
