• Vijitha Herath said his party had already formed a mass movement

Front line Socialist Party has requested for a discussion with JVP to form a mass movement, a senior activist from the party, Pubudu Jayagoda said yesterday.   

Mr. Jayagoda told Daily Mirror that he had made a written request for a discussion with the JVP. “We have already handed over the written request and are waiting for a response,” he said. Meanwhile JVP Propaganda Secretary, Member of Parliament Vijitha Herath said his party had already formed a mass movement. “We have already formed a mass movement with few parties and civil groups.

We have already acted by the time the Frontline Socialist Party decided to form the Mass movement. The other issue is that they want to ally with the Lanka Samasamaja Party (LSSP) and Communist Party(CP).
