Former State Minister Pandu Bandaranayake arrested For attempting to sell three ivory pearls

Former State Minister Pandu Bandaranayake was arrested by the police Special Task Force (STF) yesterday in Ampara where he attempted to sell three ivory pearls for Rs.10 million.
The STF made the arrest upon a tip off. A pistol and a rare stone were also recovered from his possession. Along with him, three other persons were also arrested.
