French tourist dies and two other tourists injured in road accident

A French tourist died and two others were injured when the car transporting them veered off the road and toppled at Lankagama in Neluwa off Galle.
The deceased were identified as Estell Marie Brannan 22 from France. The injured were tourists from Netherlands and Norway. They were admitted to hospital by the Neluwa police.

The driver told police that a defect in the brakes of the car had resulted in the accident.
Neluwa police are conducting investigations.
