The price of a plate of fried rice and kottu will be reduced by Rs. 20 from last night, the Canteen Owners’ Association announced.
The association’s president, Harshana Rukshan, explained that this price cut follows a decrease in the retail prices of gas cylinders from the major domestic LP gas providers.
Accordingly, the cost of a plate of kottu and a plate of fried rice will both drop by Rs. 20.
However, no decision was taken for the reduction for a cup of milk tea or plain tea.
