The Tourist Fuel Pass and Prepaid Card system were launched on Wednesday (5), enabling tourists to use a US$ Prepaid Card to get fuel from more than 300 filling stations across the country, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said.  

He stated that the card is available at Dialog and Sampath Bank Counters at the Katunayake International Airport with an added facility of topping up at Sampath Bank Branches.  
While commenting on the Tourist Fuel Pass, he thanked the development partners, Dialog Axiata, Millenium IT ESP, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Banking Partner Sampath Bank, CPC, LIOC, and Ministry of Tourism and Lands for assisting in implementing the Tourist Fuel Pass pre-Paid Card System.
