Ministry of Finance is looking to cancel the tokens issued to casino players for gaming, Daily Mirror learns.   

The casino players who engage in gaming were allowed to deposit money from their mother countries and then come to Sri Lanka and engage in gaming under the token system.   

The Ministry has also decided to bring in laws under which foreigners who engage in gaming will be made to use foreign currency.   

It has been revealed that Sri Lanka has lost large amounts of foreign currency such as dollars and euros under the token system.
