LITRO Gas Lanka Limited announced yesterday that the 3,724 MT shipment of gas scheduled to reach the country will be delayed due to inclement weather conditions.  

They said the ship is due to sail in to the country between July 6 and 8. However due to unpredictable turbulent weather conditions, the ship will be due here on July 9.  

This gas shipment is to reach us upon an agreement signed between LITRO Gas Lanka Limited and the World Bank to bring in 100,000 MT of gas into the country.
