• Ports, CEB, private bus owners and education sector trade unions expected to join strike

The Trade Union Coordination Centre yesterday said it will go for a continuous general strike from today.   

“We have decided to go for a continuous general strike because of the attack on the protesters at Gota GoGama and Myna Go Gama yesterday,” he said  

The Ports, Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), private bus owners and education sector trade unions have informed us that they will participate in the strike.
