 By Chaturanga Samarawickrama

The Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association (LPBOA) and the Inter-Provincial Private Bus Association (IPPBA) yesterday said if the government does not consider allowing diesel concessions, bus fares need to be increased to cover the loss.

LPBOA President Gemunu Wijerathne and IPPBA Association’s Secretary Anjana Priyanjith said that the private bus industry is about to collapse and needs very firm decisions from the government to protect it.
