Indian Foreign Secretary to arrive in Colombo early next week



To arrange for President’s visit to New Delhi

Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra will arrive in Sri Lanka early next week to work out arrangements for President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s visit to New Delhi on July 20, Daily Mirror learns.   

The President will undertake a visit to India for the first time after he assumed office last year. According to informed sources, Fisheries Minister Douglas Devananda, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera, Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabry and Chief of President’s Staff Sagala Ratnayake will join the visit.  
The President will hold bilateral talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the visit.
