Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha called on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and congratulated him on his party’s electoral victory at the General Election.

“As a fellow democracy, India welcomes the mandate and remains committed to further strengthening bilateral ties for the benefit of our peoples,” the Indian High Commission said in a post on X.
