The Ambassador of Indonesia to Sri Lanka Dewi Gustina Tobing paid a courtesy visit to Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Shavendra Silva at the CDS office in Colombo yesterday.  
Extending a warm welcome to the office, the CDS appreciated the courtesy gesture of the visiting diplomat. A cordial dialogue took place based on the advancement of Indonesia – Sri Lanka bilateral military relations, particularly in training. The discussion was also extended to take common maritime security related issues faced by both the island nations whilst assuring the highest concern, the CDS office said in a statement .
