State Minister Kanaka Herath said the contract for investment in the LNG energy sector at West Coast Power Plant in Kerawalapitiya, would be done in adherence to the tender procedure.

Asserting that no final decision had been taken to award the contract to any company, the Minister said it would be done in accordance with the due procedure.

The Minister made these remarks in response to queries by the media.
