Senior print and electronic media journalist and Nuwara-Eliya District correspondent Douglas Nanayakkara was felicitated for his long service to the industry by a special felicitation ceremony organised to honour media personnel in line with the 35th Anniversary of the Upcountry People’s Front (UCPF) held in Hatton recently. Nanayakkara received his award from Parliamentarian Harsha de Silva, while UCPF leader V. Radhakrishnan and MP Velu Kumar look on.
