The first Randoli Perahera of the Kandy Esala festival paraded the streets last night with the gaily decorated Sri Dalada Maligawa tusker ‘Wasana’, which carried the golden casket of the sacred relics. Tusker ‘Wasana’ was flanked by the tuskers Burumaraja and Kandula.
