The price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of Litro domestic LP gas is expected to cost less than Rs. 3,000 once the price reduction is implemented with effect from midnight today, Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris said today.   
He said that an official announcement on this will be made tomorrow.  

Muditha Peiris said the reason for the large price reduction is due to several considerable reasons, such as the decrease of prices in the world market and also receiving a large stock of LP gas.
