The main suspect in yesterdays shooting incident at Ahungalla town has been shot dead by the STF.  Police said the suspect had fired at the STF with a pistol when the STF tried to arrest him.   

A 43-year-old man was injured during a shooting which took place in Ahungalla town yesterday. The gunman who came in a car opened fire at the victim near a three-wheeler parking lot.  
He was injured in the shooting and admitted to the Balapitiya Hospital for treatment.
