The main suspect wanted in connection with abducting the driver of a lorry, the cleaner and 

four officers transporting a stock of 16,000 litres of fuel to a telephone transmission tower in Hantana area on September 24 was arrested yesterday by the Kandy Police. 
The suspect had been hiding in a lodge in Hantana area. Police said the suspect popularly known as Bogambara Amila was a drug addict.

He was to be produced before Kandy magistrate last morning. OIC Crime Branch of the Kandy Police M.G.S.Bandara is conducting further investigations.
