SJB Parliamentarian Mano Ganesan yesterday said that there is no issue with re-appointing former President Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Prime Minister, but the Parliament should be dissolved and a parliamentary election should be held.

 “We are asking the President to please appoint Mahinda as the Prime Minister, as we don’t have any issue for that, but at the same time the President should take immediate actions to dissolve the Parliament and hold an election,” Ganesan told media.

He said after the election they will form a government. Then you are the president and we a have a government,” he said.
