Minister lodges complaint with CID to investigate CPC, CPSTL activities



  • Complaints lodged against the activities carried out by the said companies over the proposals made by the individuals

The Power and Energy Minister yesterday said that he had lodged a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to investigate Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL) activities.  He said the complaints lodged against the activities carried out by the said companies over the proposals made by the individuals.   While posting on Twitter, he said that he requested to investigate fuel procurement, evaluation of proposals, non-placement of orders, selection of suppliers, delays in payments, distribution irregularities, and allegations made by individuals.
