Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekera has instructed IGP Chandana Wickramaratne to immediately investigate the complaint lodged with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) against State Minister Lohan Ratwatte.   

The Committee for Protecting Rights of Prisoners has lodged a complaint with the CID yesterday urging the immediate arrest of State Minister Lohan Ratwatte over allegedly threatening  Tamil prisoners at the Anuradhapura Prison on Sunday.
