No COVID-19 vaccines in Sri Lanka



PHIs highlight concerns of unvaccinated travellers  

  • These individuals face a lot of trouble when they attempt to travel, especially to western countries

Chairman of the Public Health Inspectors Union Upul Rohana said that there are a number of unvaccinated individuals who have requested vaccine certificates from health authorities for their international travel requirements.   


“There are no COVID-19 vaccines in Sri Lanka. Therefore these individuals face a lot of trouble when they attempt to travel, especially to western countries,” he said, urging the government to pay attention to the issue.
