The country has sufficient stocks of fuel and therefore there is no need for panic buying, an official said.
Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Limited Uvais Mohamed told Daily Mirror that there was diesel enough for 28 days and petrol for 21 days. He also said another shipment is due to arrive. “We have storage capacity for 25-30 days. There is a shipment on the way,” he said.
