No more mandatory face wearing except in indoor functions, public transport

The government decided to do away with mandatory face mask wearing for people except in public transport and indoor functions, newly appointed Health Minister Prof. Channa Jayasumana said.   

The Minister told Daily Mirror the new decision was taken after the assessment of the current Covid situation.  “There is no use keeping further restrictions,” he said.
