The Frontline Socialist Party (FLSP) said today that there is no option left other than to remove the incumbent President and the government using its force as the present administration has also failed.  

“We had no choice but to use force to topple the Gotabaya Rajapaksa administration and we don’t have any option left today either,” FLSP Secretary of Education Pubudu Jayagoda told a press conference.   

“We were accused of entering state property, including the President’s house. What else could we do?” he asked.  

“We have to repeat the same things once again, and this time we will. We will not send Mr. Wickremesinghe and the minister home, but will send them to jail,” he added.  
He said several sectors, including the fishery sector had come to a standstill with the massive kerosene price hike.
