Nobody will be allowed in public places without third dose,Fourth dose from April 30



  • Individuals who failed to obtain all doses of the vaccine are susceptible to complications and facing the danger of death

President of Public Health Inspectors’ Union Upul Rohana said a decision regarding a fourth booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine had not been taken, but the individuals who neglected the three doses of the vaccine would not be allowed to frequent public places with effect from April 30.    

Commenting of the present position of the pandemic he told Daily Mirror yesterday that everyone should be fully vaccinated to avoid any inconvenience as advised by the health authorities.   “ We were under the impression that the spread of the virus could be brought under control. However, it has been spreading in alarming proportions among people. We have received information of individuals who had been affected by the relapse of the disease at short intervals.
