A 30 year old youth was killed and another was injured when unidentified men arrived in a motorcycle and opened fire on them at Bastian Mawatha in Pettah last morning.   

Police said the victims were admitted to the Colombo National Hospital and are residents of Anuradhapura.   
According to the investigations, the victims were shot while returning from a Court hearing yesterday.   
The victims had worked for the same company and were removed from the company three months ago without pay.   

They have filed court cases demanding compensation from the company and it is reported that the company has also filed fraud charges against them.
