The Health Ministry has provided facilities for unvaccinated individuals to get their vaccines without further delay.
Deputy Director-General of Health Services Dr Hemantha Herath told a news briefing yesterday that they hope every eligible person gets their COVID vaccine to ensure protection of everyone else..

“Accordingly, eligible people who are yet to receive COVID vaccine are advised to coordinate with respective MOH and make necessary arrangements to get the vaccine,” he said.

“We as health authorities earnestly invite those unvaccinated people to get themselves vaccinated without further delay.

Some proportion of the population has abstained from getting the COVID jab due to various reasons, including misconceptions and myths.
