SJB MP Harin Fernando in Parliament yesterday questioned as to how former Minister of Public Security Sarath Weerasekara was using the V8 luxury vehicle used by suicide bomber Zahran Hashim who led the Easter Sunday Attacks.  

He questioned as to how a vehicle which was kept as a court production, could be used by a minister.   
MP Fernando read out a twitter message posted by a journalist and said a picture of the Land Cruiser is also published with the message. “Can a court production be used by a politician?” the journalist has questioned.  
MP Weerasekara denied that he had used the vehicle. “I inquired from the Defense Secretary on the issue and he confirmed that the vehicle had been attached to STF,” Weerasekara said.
