The report of the presidential commission which probed the Easter Sunday attacks is incomplete as it had not revealed vital facts, SJB MPs said yesterday.

SJB MP Harin Fernando told journalists that the report had failed to uncover the mastermind of the attacks.

“There are two aspects when it comes to probing the attacks. One is negligence. There was negligence on the part of then President, the Prime Minister and other officers. The other aspect is who masterminded the attack. However it had failed to identify as to who masterminded the attack behind the scenes,” Mr. Fernando said.

“The report had failed to provide justice to those who are concerned and those who were looking forward to finding out who were behind the scenes. Even Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith was looking forward to finding out answers to these issues,” he added.

SJB MP Hector Appuhamy who is a Catholic said the Catholics of this country will be compelled to take to the streets to fulfil their expectations.
