TNA MP Shanakiyan Rasamanickam yesterday alleged that Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is falsely associating him with the LTTE.   

“Prime Minister Wickremesinghe has falsely associated me with the LTTE. He once associated me with Pilliyan,” the MP said.   

“Mr. Wickremesinghe had also taken a small extract from the 30-minute speech in Parliament the other day. I am tabling that speech so that anyone can see what I actually said about May 9 incident. I appeal to the Prime Minister not to make false allegations,” he added.   

Mr. Wickremesinghe earlier accused the TNA MP of justifying violence on May 9, 2022.
