Former President Maithripala Sirisena said that the people are preparing to revolt as they cannot bear the burden of the cost of living.  

“With the sudden increase of oil prices last Friday night, the country is facing more and more tragedies. People are preparing to revolt as they cannot bear the burden of the cost of living,” the former President said, addressing a meeting in Badulla.
